De origen canadiense, Nexos es un sistema de control que maneja audio y video. Es muy sencillo de utilizar y su tecnología en el cableado lo hace muy fácil para instalar, ya que no necesita de ningún cableado excepto que el de parlantes.

El C-6 controla seis zonas totalmente independientes y se puede extender hasta un total de 18 zonas.

Through our "Phantom Control" technology, the Nexus C-6 requires no special control wiring and integrates easily into the same 4 wires used to drive your speakers. The K-8 and K-22 LCD keypads simply connect between the C-6 control unit and the speakers and provide you with all the control required for the system. Whether you are installing new or integrating into an existing wiring scheme, you will find the C-6 easy to install. No extra control wiring beyond what you must install for your speakers makes for trouble-free installation.

MULTI-ROOM AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEMS

The C4.1 Multi-Room Controller

The four source/one zone system is aimed at the new home and MDU market with specific feature sets for retrofit and new construction applications. The C-4.1 controller is comprised of an 8 x 20 watt amplifier, housed in a compact wall mount chassis that can be installed in an electrical room or closet, and includes four keypads with built-in IR receivers. The keypads connect to the controller via the Nexus Audio Systems 'Phantom Control', which uses the same four conductor wire that carries the audio signal to your speakers. C-6 Multi-Room Controlller

The C-6 is a multi-zone A/V controller that supports 6 independently operated zones, as well as 5 audio/video source components, in addition to a built-in AM/FM tuner module. Engineered for the future, the unit includes a RS-232 serial port and a "Feature" port for future product control. This means that your system can easily integrate into other home automation systems. The Nexus C-6 allows for interconnection to a paging system and also provides a mute function, that integrates with your doorbell or telephone system to ensure you will not miss that important call or visitor.

K8 and K22 Keypads

The keypads control all the basics for each zone such as volume, bass and treble, allowing you to adjust each zone to its particular acoustic characteristics. Aside from volume and tone controls, each keypad is also capable of controlling the audio/video sources in your system. Changing discs, tracks or radio stations, your keypad sends commands to the appropriate device, giving you full control. Each keypad features an easy-to-read and backlit LCD, providing you with information on your system, the audio source or tuner stations. The K-22 keypad is used when numeric direct access is required. When in "Group" mode, the K-22 keypad can scroll through and display the assigned zone names to aid in setting up the group. The source and zone names are programmed at the Nexus C-6 Controller during installation. By simply connecting the keypads to the multi-room controller, they will be automatically programmed. The R-1 hand-held remote features Navigation Keys. Infrared codes are passed through the keypad's IR receiver and sent to the C-6 control unit for additional control over your source equipment. One remote control, managing many audio video devices from any zone in your system, equals complete control.

The T-2 Tuner

The T-2 Dual Tuner is an XM satellite radio and AM/FM tuner in a 1U high chassis. It is designed to communicate through the "Feature" port connection via the C-6 A/V controller, which in turn, displays all of the tuner information, including channel name, artist and song title on the K-8 or K-22 keypads. The T-2 features "audio" grade components in its output circuitry and a highly regulated toroidal power supply.

The ZED-2 Zone Splitter

Nexus Audio introduces its newest addition to the C-6 series of multi-room controllers. The ZED-2 Zone Splitter connects to the Zone Keypad/Speaker Terminal on a Nexus C-6 Controller or X-1 or X-2 Expansion Controller. The ZED-2 then splits the speaker level and control signals so two adjacent rooms in a zone, or 'sub-zones', such as a Living Room and Dining Room, can turn on and off independently, including individual room volume, tone and A/V source control. The two sub-zones share the same source, eliminating the clash of two different sources being played in adjacent rooms. The ZED-2 provides individual sub-zone audio amplification with two built-in 20W/Channel stereo amplifiers. The ZED-2 utilizes the same 'Phantom Control' Technology as the C-6, X-1 and X-2. This allows the greatest flexibility for new and retrofit projects, by combining the control signals and speaker level audio signals on the same four wires. While providing additional system flexibility, sub-zone expansion requires no additional programming to the C-6, X-1, X-2 or ZED-2. The system will function the same from any control point, whether in a regular zone or sub-zone.

The C-4.4 Multi-Zone Controller

The four source/four zone system is aimed at the new home and MDU market with easy installation features and simple programming. The C-4.4 controller is comprised of an 8 x 20 watt amplifier, housed in an attractive 2U chassis, and includes four keypads with built-in IR receivers.
