ZON 30-Watt Controller/Amplifier (ZAC-30)
The ZAC-30 (also known as the "Mini-ZAC" because of its size relative to the well known and larger ZAC-60) is designed for use in smaller rooms such as bathrooms or sunrooms. Like its bigger brother, the ZAC-30 uses the all-digital architecture pioneered by ZON.
The ZAC-30 features ZON's popular Euro-style user interface for source selection, bass, treble, loudness and EQ settings, onboard 30-watt digital stereo amplifier and a built-in infrared receiver. Like other ZON digital products it connects to the ZON system with a single CAT-6 or CAT-5e cable. Loudspeakers connect directly to the ZAC-30 by way of an installation-friendly, removable screw terminal connector. The half-size ZAC-30 controller/amplifier is offered in two versions, one with a full-featured display and another, lower-priced model, called the ZAC-30jr for locations not requiring a display. Both versions mount in a standard single-gang trim ring. |

ZON 60-Watt Controller/Amplifier (ZAC-60)
Control Where You Need It
The ZON Audio Controller is the next generation of amplified remote volume controllers for whole house audio. The ZAC-60 provides in-room amplification through its super-efficient, 60-Watt all-digital stereo amplifier. The integrated jog wheel and high resolution dot matrix display create a stylish and intuitive user interface. The on-board Digital Signal Processor (DSP) provides EQ selection, tone and balance controls, and a loudness contour control to enhance the listening experience in each zone.
The ZAC-60 has a built-in infrared receiver that provides IR control of the ZON Controller and passes IR commands to source devices throughout the home. A built-in microphone enables system-wide paging as well as zone monitoring, ideal for the baby's room. Each ZAC-60 connects to a ZON Router via CAT-5e or CAT-6 wire with 8P8C modular jacks. |

ZAS-130 Distributed Audio System
Distributed Audio Made Simple
The new ZAS-130 Distributed Audio System is an economical way to experience distributed audio as only ZON can deliver. Based on our award-winning, all-digital architecture, the ZAS-130 is the answer to the same-old, same-old whole house audio products. The single-source, multi-zone system comes with all of the ZON hardware you need to distribute audio to four separate listening zones. The system is stackable to accommodate virtually any number of listening zones.
At the heart of the system is the new ZR-14 Router. Measuring 6.5 inches wide, 6 inches tall by 2.0 inches deep, its size is ideal for most structured wiring cabinets, or can be tucked away in the equipment rack. No software or setup is required. Just plug and enjoy. The ZR-14 router ships with a ZPS-150 power supply.
A single audio input via the included ZIM-4 Input Module means you have awesome flexibility — not only can you locate the input module virtually anywhere, you can connect today's digital-ready audio sources directly to the ZON system. All audio information is digitally processed at the module, ensuring the best sound possible everywhere in your home.
We've based this system on our very smart, but simple ZAC-30jr Audio Controller Amplifier (four included). Enjoy audiophile quality sound with 30 Watts in each listening zone. The system's built-in IR pass-through feature allows you to control your source from any of the ZAC-30jr controllers with a pre-programmed or learning remote.
With an optional ZON System Remote you can adjust bass, treble, balance and EQ settings, further enhancing your listening pleasure. The onboard digital stereo amplifier in the controller is located in the room where the speakers are, thus eliminating the need to install costly runs of speaker wire back to the head-end.
Both the Input Module and Controller are single-gang sized devices, so you can integrate them using readily available single-gang low voltage rough in hardware or low-voltage brackets. Optional color kits are available for the input module and controllers so that the system can easily match both your style and decor. ZON External Paging Interface (ZEP-11)
Expanded Paging Capabilities
The ZEP-11 External Paging Interface expands the capabilities of the ZON whole house digital audio system. Integrate telephone and security systems, intercoms - and even weather radios - into a ZON system quickly and easily.
Custom engineered for the ZON ZR-98 Router, the ZEP-11 features an auto-sensing audio input (single RCA jack). An adjustable VOX threshold setting allows you to fine tune the sensitivity of the autosensing input. Audio received by the ZEP-11 is automatically routed to the paging bus and processed according to the paging configuration(s) in place for the ZON system.
A dry contact closure "trigger" adds additional flexibility. When used alone, the trigger is suitable for creating a system-wide mute, allowing the system to mute on external events such as doorbells, telephone and security systems. The trigger can also be used in conjunction with the page bus input to add sound to external events. |

The ZON Input Module is the next generation of multi-source input technology for whole house audio. The ZIM-4 provides input connections for analog, digital, and optical audio sources and an IR output, all in one convenient single-gang, Decora-sized module.
The ZIM-4 provides unprecedented system design flexibility. Its small size allows designers to discretely locate inputs near sources without having to sacrifice rack space or interior style. Multiple modules can be ganged together where needed to create a multi-source connection point. The ZIM-4 features a 24-bit A/D converter, so source inputs can be located virtually anywhere without compromising signal quality and without the need to run specialty cables.
Ideal for structured wiring plans, two ZIM-4 modules can be looped on a single CAT-5e or CAT-6 cable. |

ZON Device Commander (ZIR-232)
Advanced IR and RS-232 Control
The ZON Device Commander is a new generation of home theater and multi-media device controllers. The ZIR-232 controls nearly all of today's popular brands of home theater and multi-media devices, all from one convenient module designed exclusively for the ZON ZR-98 Router.
The ZIR-232 provides unprecedented flexibility. External devices can be controlled via IR, RS-232 or a combination of both. The Device Commander comes with an extensive pre-programmed library of the most often-used home theater and multi-media IR codes. And for speciality equipment, there is a simple to use learning feature, which will memorize most any remote's IR codes and store them in on-board non-volatile memory. In addition to IR control, the Device Commander features a bi-directional RS-232 port to extend control capabilities to home automation and home entertainment devices. Control commands stored in the ZIR-232 are integrated with the ZON ZAC-60's revolutionary user interface and the ZON Router's on board RS-232 port. Icons and/or text labels are assigned to stored commands and can be selected directly from a ZAC-60 display. Custom command configuration software allows full integration with the ZON system. |

ZON Doorbell Module (ZMP-3)
MP3 Enabled to Make Your House Rock
The ZON Doorbell Module is an economical way to add creative and unique digital audio to today's ZON enhanced home. It plugs neatly into any of four ZON ZR-98 Router expansion slots and enables triggering of customer created audio for doorbells, driveway sensors, motion detectors and other similar devices. Only one doorbell module is required to work throughout the house, regardless of the ZON system's size.
The module plays any one of five different audio files via five contact closures on the diminutive device. MP3 files of variable length from a split second to hours can be stored onto any standard size SD memory card. The length of the audio segments is only limited by the capacity of the SD card which can be freely changed as the user desires. MP3 files are copied onto an SD card using a personal computer or PDA. The SD card is then simply inserted into the ZON Doorbell Module attached to one of the ZON ZR-98 Routers. Different songs or sounds can be uniquely used for doorbells, driveway sensors, motion detectors and the like. |

ZON Router (ZR-98)
Advanced, All-Digital Reliability
The ZON ZR-98 Router is the next generation of multi-source, multi-zone control systems for whole house audio. The ZR-98 is a nine source, four zone, four sub-zone control system that provides power, audio, control and communications to and from each remotely located ZON ZAC-60 Audio Controller. It features a 24-bit digital audio path for unsurpassed audio quality and performance.
The ZR-98 is ideal for structured wiring plans. ZON Audio Controllers and ZON Input Modules connect to the ZR-98 via CAT-5e or CAT-6 wire and 8P8C modular jacks. The Router is rack, wall, flange, or structured wiring enclosure mountable.
Multiple ZR-98 units can be linked together for easy and efficient system expansion (expandable to more than 1,000 zones).
A built-in RS-232c port interfaces to home control systems. System setup and firmware updates are applied by connecting the ZR-98 to a PC running Oxmoor's ZON Router Serial Configuration Utility. Expand functionality and add features to a ZON system with the addition of optional expansion modules. The ZR-98 has four available bays for optional hardware enhancements exclusively for the ZON system. |
